I met the most wonderful quilter called Jodie who teaches quilting for beginners and intermediates using scraps of Liberty fabric/ your child's past clothes. The results are delightful and what a meaningful way to put family memories into a future heirloom! She's running a beginner's 4 week class complete with all the bits and bobs and then a further 8 week class after Easter. If you've not tried quilting, it's very straight forward and mindfully nourishing for the frazzled soul! Come away with a cushion, bag, quilt or even the potential for a garment.
