In collaboration with Comics & Cakes, we are hosting 4 days of cosplay creation! Make your own costume to transform into your favourite character. We'll host a celebratory event with a cosplay competition to conclude the week!

We will provide a wide range of fabrics, tools, patterns, and materials to bring your creations to life! Get creative and think outside the box, pushing sewing and crafting to supernatural limits as you transform yourselves into superheroes, villains, or other creatures and characters.

Build your unique design by choosing from a variety of sleeve lengths, fabrics, and trims —and decide whether you want to make a dress, tunic, or top!

This workshop is a great introduction to sewing for complete beginners, whilst more experienced students can develop their design by adding additional details such as multiple layers of ruffles, ribbon drawstrings, and whimsical button embellishments.

Design your own Fashion Collection!

Learn how to sketch fashion figures, develop outfit ideas, and bring your designs to life with colour and texture.

We’ll explore spring colour palettes, fabrics, patterns and upcoming trends, while building confidence in fashion illustration techniques. Students will experiment with different materials and learn how designers communicate ideas through drawing.

23rd October

Y2K fashion is here to stay! Bling and bedazzle your old (and boring!) jeans with an amazing selection of gems, studs, eyelets, and vinyl transfers. You can even add lace inserts, appliqué patches, and lace-up details.

This workshop is perfect for beginners! You’ll learn the fundamentals of sewing and make use of our specialist equipment (such as heat press and eyelet machine). Have some experience? Challenge yourself to transform skinny silhouettes into trendy flares, using specialised denim needles to add inserts from our collection of discarded denim or cute, contrasting fabrics.

This fast-paced afternoon will teach you how to transform old clothes into a unique statement piece. You bring your jeans (or other denim pieces), and we’ll provide the rest!

26th - 28th October

In three mornings, create a pretty peasant blouse, perfect for the autumn weather. Choose from a range of floral, foliage, plaid, and plain fabrics to make your top uniquely yours.

This workshop is ideal for all skill levels:

New to sewing? You’ll master the basics, such as pinning, cutting, sewing seams, and adding elastic.

Already have experience? Take your blouse to the next level! Adding lace, bows, and floral embellishments.

You’ll leave with a beautiful finished top! Wear it with jeans, ruffled skirts, or linen trousers for the ultimate autumnal outfit.

26th - 28th October

Back by popular demand! As one of our longest-running workshops, you can trust our tutors will make the complicated construction feel like a breeze!

Choose from a variety of fabrics including:

•Silky satin –à la Gucci, Saint Laurent, or the Pink Ladies from Grease!

•Cosy corduroy –in a rustic orange or brown for an 80’s inspired Stranger Things vibe.

•Pretty prints –especially lovely layered over your favourite skirt.

Great for beginners and experienced students alike. You’ll learn both simple seams and more advanced techniques such as adding zippers and ribbing.

This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to crochet. We’ll start by learning some basic crochet stitches as well as learning about different kinds of yarns used in crochet. 

Then you’ll be guided on how to crochet your very own charm that can be used to decorate your favourite bag or a set of keys. There’ll be lots of colours for you to choose from, and you can pick to make a flower, butterfly or heart charm. 

You’ll come away from this workshop with a great foundation of crochet that you can transfer to other crochet projects and your first crochet piece completed!

Choose from a range of fabrics and customise your bag with your own vinyl design. Go classic with a grinning pumpkin, or create something completely unique to you!

This one-afternoon workshop is perfect for complete beginners and students with more sewing experience. You’ll learn the fundamentals of machine sewing to construct your bag, before using our specialist heat press equipment to apply your vinyl design.

You’ll leave with a fabulous handmade trick or treat bag, ready to fill with plenty of Halloween treats!
